R8 Eco Hotel - Kaohsiung

I had a great stay at this hotel that I found to be a real gem in terms of value for money. The location was fantastic, being so close to both the subway station and a lively night market. The staff were friendly and the service was top-notch. The room was clean and comfortable, with a separated restroom that provided enough privacy. I especially liked the good bathroom facilities. And let's not forget the breakfast, which was fresh and satisfying. a convenient and enjoyable stay.

All was above expectations, no improvements necessary.

The hotel stay was quite an adventure! It is located in an area where you can explore a local night market and enjoy mouth-watering food. My experience was not entirely positive. The hotel had a strange and unpleasant odour throughout the hallway and outside my room. Additionally, the wifi connection was poor and I could not access the internet. while I appreciated the positive aspects of the hotel, the unpleasant smell and lack of internet were significant frustrations.

Located in a convenient spot with only a short walk to a lively night market and easy access to the subway and train stations. the room was clean and spacious with some facilities provided. the staff was friendly and helpful, trying their best to communicate despite difficulties with the language barrier.

Amazing location! This hotel is situated in the heart of the city, making it easy to walk to all the key attractions and hotspots. the staff is super friendly and always willing to help with whatever you need. the rooms are quite spacious, with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. We also liked that the air conditioning worked well and kept the room at a comfortable temperature.

Our biggest challenge was the sewage odor outside of the room and the lack of water supply during the daytime. the entry was through a night market and a not-so-appealing foyer that came as a surprise.

The staff were kind and helpful, spacious and clean room, excellent location with a night market nearby, surrounded by shops and food stalls, value for money.

It was so convenient to explore the city and indulge in delicious local food. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going out of their way to help. Despite language barriers, they made a genuine effort to communicate and ensure my needs were met. Lastly, the rooms were spacious and well-maintained, with a separate restroom that provided enough privacy. this hotel was great value for money, offering basic amenities and a good breakfast.
